Once constructed, every board is machined by hand, then meticulously sanded to a flawless silky smooth finish. Each serving board is fitted with your choice of handle finish allowing you to tailor the final look to suit your home and style. Our signature NBD logo is laser engraved as a mark of authenticity – a symbol of strength, reliance, and purpose. To protect and enhance the natural beauty of the wood, each board is generously treated with food safe mineral oil. Once fully absorbed and dried, it is finished with 2 coats of our premium beeswax and mineral oil board conditioner. This process nourishes the timber, enhances durability, and creates a protective finish built to withstand everyday use. Each board then has 4 rubber feet fitted to the bottom to allow air flow around the board at all times and to sit nicely on your worktop.
